Public ZOTERO library on revolts in early modern diplomacy and visual culture
Following the publication of our first edited volume on Revolts and Political Violence in Early Modern Imagery, we are now making the corresponding ZOTERO library with bibliographic information on the sources used for writing the book public.
This library also contains bibliographic information on the secondary works (and, to a lesser degree, primary sources) which we have collected for our second volume on revolts in early modern diplomacy. This book is now entering the final stages of production.
Via the “Group Library” view on ZOTERO, you can easily access two folders – one for each of our book projects. Expanding the drop-down menus, you will see sub-folders for the individual chapters and additional folders on topics which we have more summarily covered in the introductions or our various conferences.
The items in these folders thus go beyond the reference list in our print publications and offer researchers working on uprisings in the early modern period additional resources. In the case of digitally available sources, links have been provided.
The library is publicly visible but can only be edited by members of our ZOTERO group. Please contact Monika Barget if you are interested in joining. Also, we welcome additions and corrections. Users with editing rights can add new items themselves or update existing ones.
We hope that our ZOTERO library will prove helpful to researchers and teachers worldwide.
